Hailing from Mullins, South Carolina, the gifted Sandra Phillips had been working the “chitlin circuit” of Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, etc. since her teen years. In 1970, at the of 24, Sandra hooked up with legendary producer Jerry Williams Jr. (aka Swamp Dogg) to record a full length album that is now considered a soul masterpiece. Long out of print, the album “Too Many People In One Bed” is presented here, newly remastered.
