Product Notes
Last year, after reunited Bay Area rockers One Man Army released a four-track EP, "She's An Alarm", frontman Jack Dalrymple found himself with a handful of other songs that he liked, though they didn't fit his old band's vibe. So he enlisted the help of fellow One Man Army member Brandon Pollack, as well as Swingin' Utters bassist Miles Peck, and the trio began demoing the cuts. Dubbing themselves ToyGuitar, and rounding out their lineup with Danielle Agnew, they have this brand new 4-track release on Adeline! The four-track release is a rapid sprint of piston-pumping punk that opens with the rushing, crunchy "Worlds Between Us." On "She's an Alarm" and "Shoot the Piano Player," the band shows off their knack for prickly Strokes-like riffs and fierce, barebones tracks that don't sacrifice dynamics, while Dalrymple peddles sun-drenched angst on "Tangled Up."
