Having left the Yardbirds in 1966, it's an album that is held in high esteem, lauded at the time of release and breaking into the top 15 of the Billboard Top LPs, it has retrospectively been hailed as a classic, seen by many as one of the earliest examples of heavy rock and has also been celebrated as one of the greatest British blues rock albums of all time.
