2008 release. With more than a little help from an ensemble cast of co-conspirators, Steve Hefter has been churning out a steady stream of memorable, musical heartache since the late 90's. While cutting his teeth co-writing in bands with Judd Bolger (Judd and Maggie) and Billy Gordon (J. Roddy Walston and the Business), Hefter gradually found himself scouting out musicians for his own project, what would soon become the core of his Friends of Friends. Following the release of a successful debut EP (produced by Gordon), Hefter began writing a new batch of songs whose lyrically-driven Folk sensibilities and melodic Indie-Rock textures would eventually converge to seamlessly become Twist and Hold Til' Morning.
