French house duo Chateau Flight are the latest Electronic act to get into soundtracking silent movies. Château Flight composed a score specially written for screenings of the film Les Vampires in early 2006, and they liked the result so much they've decided to release it as a stand alone CD. It features eight tracks, all untitled. Chateau Flight is Chaix, aka I: Cube, and Gilbert Cohen, aka DJ Gilb'R. While Chaix's output as I: Cube has often been minimal techno, together as Chateau Flight the duo's music is informed more by electro-pop, French Chanson and chilled house. Versatile. 2007.
