'Live, the group's third release, captures Vishtèn onstage during a pair of spirited, delightful concerts recorded in April 2008 in Charlottetown, PEI. Vishtèn is made up of Emmanuelle LeBlanc (flute, piano, bodhrán, foot percussion), her sister Pastelle LeBlanc (accordion, piano, foot percussion), and Pascal Miousse (fiddle, mandolin, guitar). They are joined here by Elmer Deagle (guitar, tenor banjo, mandolin), and bassist Rémi Arsenault. The material here is a mix of traditional and group compositions, the playing is perfect, and the energy level is high. The LeBlanc sisters are of French/Irish heritage, and that combination kicks in on the first track, the "Figeac" set, which combines Irish-sounding jigs and Acadian reels in a flurry of flute, accordion, and tapping feet. "Monsieur L'Matou" starts off with a quick call-and-response between voices that leads into a reel with similar interplay between accordion and guitar.' Dirty Linen Magazine.
