Young Travis Cornell (Corey Haim) was impressed enough by the smarts of a runaway Golden Retriever that he enthusiastically took the pooch in. Unfortunately, the dog had escaped from a research facility fire... as had a genetically mutated beast... and government fixer Lem Johnson (Michael Ironside) wasn't particular about how to deal with any and all loose ends. Heart-pounding take on the Dean Koontz novel also stars Barbara Williams, Lala Sloatman; keep an eye out for Jason Priestley. 91 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English; featurettes; image gallery; theatrical trailer.
