Silent screen legend John Gilbert sets sail for love in this all-talking comedy adventure costarring Wallace Beery and vagabond author Jim Tully (Beggars of Life) in his only screen appearance. Whenever Jack (Gilbert) sets anchor in London, the rowdy seaman heads off to see Joan (Leila Hyams), a shipping clerk who wants nothing to do with a sailor. Pretending he intends to settle down, Jack and Joan are happily married, until he admits he told her a lie and she leaves him to start a new life. Getting a job on an ocean liner, Jack shows his true mettle when a storm threatens to sink all aboard - including Joan, who's a passenger on the ship.
