Otto M. Zykan (1935-2006) was one of the most important Austrian composers of the second half of the 20th century. With the "Unterösterreichisches Liederbuch" this album presents a highlight of his work, which at the same time sets out the task of posterity: Zykan, without which Zykan himself is present, becomes an interpretive challenge.
