Who is Import CDs?

Import CDs is a worldwide one-stop CD music, DVD movie and Video Game retailer that stocks (in-house) the largest number of titles in the world. As our name suggests, we specialize in imports and offer the best selection anywhere.

Why Shop At Import CDs?

Unlike most other sites, we stock all our product in our own warehouse. We do not rely on anyone else to get your instock order out the door. Single item orders are picked, processed and packaged in a matter of hours, not days. Multiple-item orders are hand-packed and usually out the door in a day or so.

CD Information:

We source brand new, genuine music CDs from all across the globe. We feature the world's most extensive selection of Music titles in CD, SACD and Vinyl LP formats. Our Import CDs often have different track listings than their domestic US counterparts.

DVD Information:

The majority of our DVD's are Region 1 / NTSC DVD's. This means that the DVD's are only able to play on DVD players made within the United States and Canada. We also stock some specialty DVD's that may be another Region than Region 1 and in PAL format, to play these DVDs you will need a compatible DVD player. Order Processing/Shipping:

Our sophisticated warehouse utilizes the latest technological innovations to help ensure your order is out the door the same day we get it. Near-perfect accuracy is guaranteed by our computerized picking lists, handheld barcode scanners and barcode driven sorting machines. Our team of highly motivated employees watch over the entire process every step of the way.

We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole descretion

Our Shopping Cart page will automatically calculate shipping charges based on location. You may change the location using the drop-down list of countries found near the bottom of the Shopping Cart screen.

Shipping Methods

USA Orders
Are shipped via US Postal Service First Class mail and will be delivered by your local mailcarrier. We use DHL/Globalmail to expedite your package and speed delivery times. This means that your package is flown to the nearest USPS hub and injected into the US Postal Stream as close to your final destination as possible.
US orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail. Priority mail is not available at this time.
* Some larger orders may be shipped via UPS/FedEx at our descretion.
Non-USA, International Orders
Are shipped via Expedited airmail in conjunction with DHL/Globalmail and your local postal service. Your package is delivered by your regular postal worker. DHL/Globalmail helps us expedite delivery by flying your package closer to your destination before injecting the mail into the postal stream.
* Some larger orders may be shipped via FedEx or DHL at our descretion.
Please be prepared to pay the Customs Duty your country charges. We are not and can not be responsible for what your country charges. We do not declare packages at less than paid value and we do not make special accomodations such as opening your package and only shipping discs.

While this list will grow in the future, we are currently only doing business with the above locations and will no longer ship to other non-listed countries.

Non-Exportable Items

What Is This?
Some of the items we carry have export restrictions placed on them. We cannot ship them to addresses outside of the United States. They are identified on search results, product details, shopping cart and checkout screens.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to complete your order without removing these items from your shopping cart. We apologize for any difficulty this causes you.
My Shipping Address is in the US
This does not affect you. All products on this site are available for your purchase.

Returns and Defective Items:

Items must be returned in the same condition received. All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of shipment. If the item you purchased is a software title, it can only be returned in cases of defect, damage or if the item was different than described. When writing to ImportCDs to arrange for its return, please be as descriptive as possible regarding the problem with the merchandise.
Return Postage
Shipping and handling charges for returning orders are borne by the buyer unless you contact customer service AND you are given a prepaid USPS standard return shipping label.
We do not offer reimbursement for return shipping.
Return of Merchandise
To ensure the safe return of the merchandise, items valued at over $50 should be returned to ImportCDs with a trackable shipping service. If the order is valued at $100 or more, insure the shipment for the value of the merchandise and ship your return with a signature shipping service. For items below $50, we recommend contacting us for a prepaid USPS standard return shipping label.
Sending the return via a trackable shipping method protects you in the event ImportCDs doesn't receive an item.
Note that Delivery Confirmation through the U.S. Postal Service does not offer a signature service.
Note that Prepaid shipping labels are only available in the United States.

Import Product Notes
Please note that some imported items are shipped without plastic wrap. This is standard packaging process used in many countries outside of the USA. Please be assured that the merchandise you receive are NEW unless otherwise noted. In the event an item is found to be damaged or defective, the item will be replaced with a like title. We do not substitute for another item. If the item is of limited quantity or cannot be replaced, we will credit your account upon receipt of the defective merchandise.
Stock Images, Rare Packaging
Product photographs are stock images and may not necessarily represent the current version of title. We do out best to maintain an accurate image database, but products are often re-released using the same UPC with slightly different packaging. It is unlikely we would be stocking an out of print limited edition CD with a special cover. Chances are that the item has been released with a different packaging.

Your Credit Card will only be charged for items that have shipped
Paypal payments require payment for the entire order amount upfront. Orders will not be processed until payment has been confirmed. If you are funding your Paypal purchase through your bank account, this can take several days. Payments funded by credit card or account balance are typically processed the same day.

Your Credit Card will be charged for items that have shipped
Payment Note
Please be advised that if you are using a third party payment provider such as PayPal or Google Wallet, your payment may be deducted from your account prior to the shipment of your order. The deduction of this amount is at the discretion of the third party and this site has no control over the policies of these providers. For any further questions, please contact the payment provider directly.

Yes to all California, Illinois, Kentucky and Florida USA orders.

How much tax will my California, Illinois, Kentucky or Florida order incur?
Orders shipped to the states of California, Illinois, Kentucky and Florida will be charged sales tax on the order total (items + shipping & handling)
California orders will have 8% of order total collected
Illinois orders will have 6.25% of order total collected
Kentucky orders will have 6% of order total collected
Florida orders will have 6% of order total collected

The # listed at the top of each page is updated throughout the day, every 15 minutes. It's not completely live, but it's a pretty accurate number.

These items are physically located in our warehouse, which helps us ship out orders so quickly. It also means that you won't see too many backorders from items that we say we have. Orders are fulfilled first-come, first-serve.

Concerning images, or product descriptions
We try our best to provide up-to-date images and descriptions but occasionally make errors. In most cases the only information we have available on a given title is what we have listed. If the image we show is different than the description, please let us know before you buy. We don't want you to be disappointed when you receive something other than what you thought you purchased.
