Offering up another Christmas-themed EP after 2006 s Gloria, Hawk Nelson bring plenty of pop-punk-infused holiday cheer on Christmas. Though this won t be the first time you ve heard any of these ubiquitous holiday staples, this might be the most energetic versions you ve encountered. Looking to add a bit of sunshiny enthusiasm to the holiday season, Hawk Nelson breath some life into classics like Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Up on the Housetop, giving them some extra pep while making sure that they re still good clean fun for the whole family. While these songs are pretty much ingrained in the culture, Hawk Nelson do a fine job of freshening them up a little, making Christmas an EP that s sure to add a little extra exuberance to your next holiday gathering. ~ Gregory Heaney, Rovi
